For an earnest member of Rashtriya Swayam Sevak Sangh and the Bharatiya Janata Party, Shri Punit Verma, the seeds for service were sown long before his birth. His uncle (Tau ji) Late Shri Ram Kumar Verma joined Rahstriya SwayamSevak Sangh in his early teens and accompanied Param Poojya Sar-Sangh Sanchalak, Shri Rajju Bhaiya to jail in 1948. Soon, his younger brother, Shri Virendra Kumar Verma (later known as Capt. Verma), followed in his elder brother's footsteps. He also joined the organisation as a Bal Swayamsevak and became a member of the huge, dedicated family of Swayam Sevaks. Soon, the entire family became an integral part of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, and joining RSS as a dedicated member became a family tradition. The vision of Rahstriya SwayamSevak Sangh became the lifestyle of the entire family.
