Maybe there is a road ahead of it, or maybe there is a world down the road, and walking forth is the only plight because we didn’t come this far to come this far only.
A heart filled with aspiration is all that we knew since the very existence of the school, and that’s what gave us the ambition to march forward till excellence is achieved in all our endeavours. The journey of M L Convent was started on 02 October 1974, when foundation of this great institution was laid by Capt V.K Verma and Mrs. Sheel Kumari. M L Convent is a living monument to the cherished dream of its founders, who devoted all their lives to raising this institution to great heights. Today, under the dynamic leadership and valuable guidance of President Mr Punit Verma and Manager Mrs Shikha Verma, M L Convent Group of Schools is keeping up with the pace of the modern world.

Some Salient features are:
❖ For the Primary and pre-Primary classes, events like the Colours-Week, Pool Party, and different festivals of different religions are celebrated to teach the students communal harmony and moral values.
❖ For senior classes, activities like Science Seminar, Science Meet, Art Exhibition, Extempore, Debate, Quiz Competition, Kavi Sammelan, etc. are organized at different levels.
❖ Talent Quest is organized to enhance the interest of students in reasoning, general studies, and current affairs and help them qualify for competitive exams.

❖ Other curricular and co-curricular activities are also conducted in the proper environment and suitable infrastructure of the Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and Computer and Mathematics Labs, as well as an e-library.
❖ Music classes are arranged to enhance musical creativity among the students and provide them with a stress-free atmosphere.
❖ Audio-Visual programmes are arranged to make the teaching effective and easy to understand for students.
❖ Students are also encouraged to join the Scout and Guide programmes at the school, which enhances their zeal to face difficult situations and help others in cases of emergency. In this programme, they take part in various interesting activities like pyramid-making, tent-arranging, etc.
❖ International Yoga Day has regularly been celebrated in M L Convent group of Schools since 2016.

❖ In this age of science and technology, we are equally concerned about protection and conservation of the environment and nature. Therefore, on the birth anniversary of our founder, Captain V.K. Verma, each year on July 15th, we celebrate our Founder’s Day as Plantation Day to mark his love and care for nature. This way, we also instill feelings of responsibility towards nature in the children. Each and every effort is focused on improving the personality and character of the students, which consequently builds their confidence and increases their willpower. An overall development of their personality helps them succeed in every sphere of life.

❖ We modernized our classes by introducing visual teaching in all subjects through CDs.
❖ To enhance the physical development and mental fitness of the students, we pay special attention to yoga classes and include games and sports in our curriculum. We continued these activities throughout the pandemic in online mode.
❖ Counseling of various streams is also organized for the guidance of students in class 10th and 12th, assisting them in their selection for JEE Mains, Advance, and NEET. Students of M L Convent group of schools are also proving their worth by getting selected in the fields of sports, media, and multinational companies.

M L Convent group of schools has successfully faced the pandemic situation as we started our online classes through digital platforms and other online apps. Examinations as well as different activities like fancy dress, skit, speech on Youth Day, Republic Day were also conducted online.
In the beginning, all the teachers were not dexterous with technology, yet they updated themselves to meet the situation and successfully confronted the challenges of the pandemic. We also help the economically weak students.
We, at M L Convent Group of Schools, always stayed by the side of our employees throughout the pandemic situation and supported them morally and economically. With the sole purpose of updating teachers' knowledge, the teachers attended a series of workshops. It was an attempt which inclusively engulfed various significant aspects like moral values, life skills by CBSE, Meditation and stress management, motivational session etc.
We believe that in the coming years, we will be able to channel the halo of young minds successfully and explore the best of the students' abilities. Towards the end, I heartily thank the amiable management, whose continuous support of our ideology of education has enabled the school to come this far. Teachers and the entire staff deserve applause for their tireless efforts in implementing the root map of imparting quality education here.
We also extend our sincere thanks to the parents of our students, who have shown unflinching faith in us by giving us profound opportunities to transform their children into truly useful citizens.
Let us foresee a world of universal singularity where our children are going to be the propellant of this change. And the world shall be a beautiful place to live in.
